Which engines is this for?
N57 and all gasoline engines already provide electronic oil temperature readings – no retrofit is required for those.
Scope of delivery & Installation
- Oil temperature sensor as a replacement for the oil drain plug
- Connects to the existing VehicData wiring harness; no additional cable required
- Installation during oil change: remove old plug, insert sensor with new gasket, connect plug
- Select the engine with the sensor in the display menu – that's it

Displays: all VehicData Aura and Blade Series for BMW E9x and E6x.
Engines: Diesel M47, N47, M57.
Tip: If you are ordering a new display, you can select the sensor as an option (+€30). This page is for purchasing the sensor individually for retrofitting.
