4.1.4

Latest

The biggest update so far: petrol engine support, pointer sweep, instrument cluster self test and many refinements.

New
  • Petrol engines: 9 petrol engines are now supported alongside all diesels (N20 · N43 · N46 · N51 · N52 · N53 · N54 · N55 · S65) – with engine-specific live values such as rail pressure, lambda, ignition angle, manifold pressure and throttle.
  • Pointer sweep: On start-up, the cluster needles can sweep across the full scale – like modern factory instruments. Matched to 260 and 280 speedo scales, fine-tunable right on the display.
  • Cluster self test: Start the original BMW instrument test straight from the display – no diagnostic tool needed.
  • Gearbox oil temperature as a selectable value for automatic transmissions (optional).
  • Peak marker: Bar gauges show a subtle marker for the highest value – it lights up on a new peak and slowly follows the live value.
  • Automatic brightness with separate day and night levels – the display follows your dashboard lighting.
  • Diagnostics log: The device keeps a log of restarts and system events – in a support case, a photo of this page is all we need.
Improved
  • Larger, bolder typography across all menus – much easier to read while driving.
  • Complete translation into 6 languages with instant language switching.
  • Particulate filter page is fully live – all values refresh automatically.
  • Double-tap to change values now works reliably across the whole gauge area; switches and menus respond more precisely.
  • Maximum values are now stored permanently until you reset them – they survive ignition off.
  • Redesigned Wi-Fi update page with automatic update check.
Fixed
  • Display now always starts reliably after software updates and restarts.
  • Soot, ash and air-mass bars now use the full gauge range.
  • Maximum values are shown with decimals (e.g. battery 12.6 V instead of 12 V).
  • Power/torque correction now stays active across restarts.
